Thomas Galvin represents District 2 on the Board of Supervisors. Maricopa County is the fourth largest county in the United States with a population of over 4.4 million people. Thomas represents nearly 900,000 residents as a Maricopa County Supervisor. He was elected to the Board of Supervisors in November 2022.
Thomas has identified one guiding principle while working as a Supervisor, "protect the Maricopa County taxpayer." His issues of interest are: fighting inflation, fighting violent crime, economic development, housing, water, and fixing our roads.
Thomas is a lifelong Republican. His first experience as a Republican advocate was working on a successful mayoral campaign when he was 18 years old. He was the head of a Young Republicans group in the Valley. He worked on the Arizona Republican Party's election integrity efforts in 2008 and 2010. He is a precinct committeeman and state committeeman for the Republican Party.
Thomas serves as a member of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) Board of Directors, PHX East Valley Partnerships Board of Directors, the PHX East Valley Partnerships Critical Infrastructure & Transportation Committee, Canada Arizona Business Council, and on the Maricopa Association of Governments Economic Development Committee.
Thomas practices law in the Valley. He earned his law degree from the University of Notre Dame.
Thomas and his wife are raising their young son in District 2.
