According to the Maricopa County Environmental Health Code, Chapter VII, Reg. 1 (C), a Food Employee is any person who handles, prepares, serves, sells or gives away food for consumption by persons other than his or her immediate family, or who handles utensils and equipment pertaining to that establishment.
