Registered Nurse*

RN

As a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Correctional Health Services (CHS), you will help fulfill the mission of providing medically necessary, evidence-based integrated health care to patients going through the judicial system. Our nurses are engaged, lifelong learners who believe in a culture of collaboration, communication, and a team approach to quality patient care. You will respond to the medical needs and provide necessary continuity of care that may emerge during a patient’s stay in the county jail. As a Correctional Health Services Nurse, you will help individuals build healthier lives and provide hope for a brighter future. 


*ELIGIBLE RNs CAN EARN A $6,000 HIRING BONUS AND ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION FOR EVENING AND OVERNIGHT SHIFTS.

Licensed Practical Nurse*

Psychologist

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be a vital member of the Correctional Health Team and work in partnership with Maricopa County Sheriff’s Detention Officers. You will perform specialized nursing functions, including administering medications, therapeutic treatments, providing extensive patient care, and participating in the planning, implementation, and overall nursing care evaluation.

As a Preceptor for Correctional Health Services (CHS), your valued skills and knowledge will help new nurses succeed and grow. As a mentor, you will use evidence-based practices to provide helpful feedback, set learning objectives, teach correctional protocols and encourage critical thinking. By nurturing, supporting and guiding new nurses, you will create a long-lasting legacy that will serve patients for years to come.
