Maricopa County PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT Department Adjusts Public Operations because of COVID-19
In an effort to continue serving our community, while protecting the health and safety of customers and employees, Maricopa County is taking additional measures to limit foot traffic at county buildings.
We are accepting permits online or via a drop-box, which is located outside the lobby at 301 W. Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ 85003.
Limited appointments will be available for permitting issues that cannot be resolved via telephone or online.
All permits will be issued electronically. Payment can be made online or by calling the cashier at 602-372-1359.
Building and drainage inspections will continue. Inspectors will follow social distancing requirements.
The Planning and Development Department strives for the highest level of customer service while processing over 12,000 permits a year. We appreciate residents and businesses for adopting this temporary process to protect our community.
