Assistant County Manager, Lee Ann Bohn Biography

Lee Ann Bohn has been serving Maricopa County for nearly two decades and assumed her current position in Fall 2018.  She has seven reporting departments, the majority of which have to do with public health and wellness.

Lee Ann’s first 13 years with Maricopa County were spent with the Office of Management and Budget where she held a variety of positions, including OMB Deputy Director.  Next, Lee Ann joined the executive team in the Sheriff's Office.  After several years, she moved to senior-level positions in the Office of the Medical Examiner and then in the Judicial Branch.  Throughout her career, Lee Ann has been able to effect measurable, positive and meaningful change.

Lee Ann grew up in North St. Paul, Minnesota.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master’s degree in Public Policy from the State University of New York in Albany.  She began her public service career in the New York State Division of the Budget.
