The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors adopted the following
regulations in accordance with the Enhanced Regulatory Outreach Program
policy in an effort to promote consistency and transparency among
regulatory departments.

FCD2017-001 | Text Amendments to Floodplain Regulations | The text amendments are to bring the procedures into compliance with changed language in State law, to clarify several sections, respond to stakeholder requests and to be in compliance with the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Additionally, some minor changes are being requested for the Fee Schedule and Time Frames. |
FCD2016-002 | Text Amendment to BOHR Procedures | The amendment clarifies the procedures that are in place during an appeal before the Board of Hearing Review and will provide consistency between the procedures and state law. Adopted June 22, 2016 |
FCD2014-001 | Floodplain Management Delegations | Revision to the following sections of the Floodplain Regulations for Maricopa County: 201, 202, 404, 405, and 707. The proposed text amendment authorizes the Chief Engineer and General Manager to delegate floodplain management responsibilities to Maricopa County staff or other individuals who are not employees of the Flood Control District. Adopted June 25, 2014 |
FCD2013-001 | Floodplain Regulations Appeals Process | Revision to the following sections of the Floodplain Regulations for Maricopa County: Paragraph E of Section 401, Paragraph B of Section 404, and Section 409. |
Citizen Feedback
The Flood Control District is committed to providing multiple opportunities for stakeholder input regarding the adoption and amendment of all regulatory requirements. In the event the Department fails to observe adoption procedures pertaining to Maricopa County's Enhanced Regulatory Outreach Program policy, citizens can submit a complaint.
