The Office of Epidemiology publishes monthly outbreak summaries that detail the number of outbreaks reported to the Maricopa County Department of Health, the type of outbreak, and the number of outbreaks by facility. This data is also presented in an end of year outbreak report that includes information about how outbreak investigations are conducted as well as recommendations on ways to prevent future outbreaks.
