There's a New Trail in Town - Come Hike it with the Park Ranger! - Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Have you ever wanted to be one of the first to hike a trail, well here is your chance. Very few people know about the new trails at Lake Pleasant, and we will be hiking on one of the most scenic in the whole park! From this trail we will see the entire lake and fantastic views of the park. We will meet at the Cottonwood Day Use Area / North Pipeline Canyon Trailhead. We will be hiking the new Yavapai Point Trail which is a moderate 3 mile round trip. Wear good hiking shoes, bring water and a snack. The ranger will see you at the trailhead for a scenic adventure!

Have you ever wondered what creatures you’ll find living in various sources of water? Would you like learn how to collect and identify the organisms that provide clues about the health of its environment? Then this class is for you. Bring your Official Water Detective curiosities as we explore the world of Macro-invertebrates both inside and outside of the Nature Center. Meet inside classroom. Open to all students ages 7-up. Under 7-years must be accompanied by parent. Limit 25 students. Materials list will be provided.
