Fridays Fitness Hike – Wagner Trailhead
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
Fridays Fitness Hike – Various locations in Park- ALL Fridays Come to one or all of the Fitness Hiking Series, every Friday. We build up to a longer hike at the end of the month. Please wear sturdy shoes & bring plenty of water. This week's hike starts at the Wagner Trailhead, in the Campground Loop.

Pleasant Paddlers Program - Full Moon Party Paddle of Lights on South Bay - Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Start the Labor Day weekend right and come on out and see all the people from your paddle craft. Wear your crazy hat and put some crazy lights on your kayak, canoe, or SUP. We will be paddling around the shoreline of the south bay, where there will be lots of people camped. We will meet near the shoreline, at the end of Desert Tortoise Road, look for the "Full Moon Paddle" signs and all the kayaks. Bring water, a flashlight, lots of crazy lights. You must wear your life vest. Don't forget to bring that crazy hat and lights!

Blue Moon Hike - San Tan
San Tan Mountain Regional Park
It only happens once in a blue moon; and for us, it’s happening this August at San Tan. Enjoy a marvelous evening under the light of the blue moon as we peacefully make our way along the Stargazer Trail (2.2miles) Take pleasure knowing the hot sun is gone for the day as our ranger guides you through the desert on a truly special hike.

Moonlight Hike - Spur Cross
Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
August 31 Friday 7:00 pm Moonlight Hike (moderate) The Conservation Area is a different experience when seen softly illuminated by the silver moon. While we will attempt to minimize the use of flashlights, bring one in case you need it.

Blue moon hike for the familty at White tank Park
White Tank Mountains Regional Park
Walking the Waterfall trail in the moonlight will give you a different perspective on the beauty of the Uplands Desert. This is a relatively flat trail but adequate hiking shoes are required (No open toed shoes). Meet at Area 6. No dogs please.
