Nature Photography for Beginners with Photographer, Steven Lewis - Usery Park
Usery Mountain Regional Park
Enhance your enjoyment of taking pictures while enjoying nature, whether it is out hiking, watching wildlife, or just watching the world pass by. We will work with you on getting your camera off of the "Auto" setting and will help you understand how your camera works to get better pictures. This presentation is best suited for owners of SLR cameras, but all cameras are welcome, we just ask that you know how to access your menus on your own. We will discuss the basics of ISO, aperture, shutter speed and how they are related, and how each can be used to improve your nature photography. We will also discuss how to read your histogram to make sure that you are getting the most out of your shot, and we will wrap up with a discussion on composition along with a Q & A period.
