Fruits of the Desert - Spur Cross
Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
July 4 Friday 7:00 am Fruits of the Desert (easy) Come join us on a quest to find and taste some of the edible plants that have sustained the native peoples of this region. We will harvest and taste one of the most important foods, the fruit of the saguaro cactus, as well as look to see what else is available this time of the year. Bring along plenty of water.

Patriot Shoreline HIke - Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Grab your patriotic hat and shirt and come join us for a scenic hike above the shore of Lake Pleasant, while we experience the beauty of this great nation! The ranger will talk about the history of the lake on this two mile hike. Bring water and wear good hiking shoes.

San Tan Mountain Regional Park

From historic parks to state parks, Arizona State Parks system offers natural areas and recreation destinations that are sure to please anyone in your family. Join us inside the Nature Center as we explore our wonderful parks throughout the state as well as local favorites. NOTE: This program is part of the “County Parks are getting Wet ‘n’ Wild this Summer” promotion. At the end of the program, we will give away a free family four-pack (4 free tickets to the Wet ‘n’ Wild Water Park – a $160 value!!)

Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Bring the kids for a fun visit to the Lake Pleasant Visitor Center. The ranger will talk about a variety of wildlife in the park and then pass out coloring pages of these animals so that the kids can color and take them home.
