Fridays Fitness Hike - HORSE STAGING AREA- McDowell
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
Fridays Fitness Hike – Various locations in Park- ALL Fridays Come to one or all of the Fitness Hiking Series, every Friday. We build up to a longer hike at the end of the month. Please wear sturdy shoes & bring plenty of water. This week, meet at the Horse Staging Area (First Right after the Entry Station).

Toothaker Trail Hike - Estrella
Estrella Mountain Park
This 2-mile out and back hike on our Toothaker Trail will keep you in the hiking habit! Meet Ranger Amy for a quick morning hike on this scenic trail. Meet at the Rainbow Trailhead.

Pipeline Canyon Exploring Hike – Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Come explore with the Ranger as we hike down to the water and explore. This scenic hike is only 1.5 miles and will last about two hours. Wear good hiking shoes and bring water, a snack, and some sunscreen. Some people find a hiking stick useful on this type of hike. We will meet at the South Pipeline Canyon Trailhead.

Little Critters Storytime w/ Ranger Amy -McDowell Park Nature Center
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
Little Critters Storytime with Ranger Amy - (Geared toward preschool and older children) Join us every Thursday (except July 4)for a themed program set around a children's book read aloud by Ranger Amy. Activities vary and may include live animals, songs, crafts, and/or puppet plays. This program takes place in our air-conditioned Visitor Center.

Join local geology professor, A. J. Lombard, as he shares a wealth of information about the fascinating geology of the Superstitions in this informative slide presentation. Family Moonlight Hike at White Tank Park
White Tank Mountains Regional Park
Walking the Black Rock Loop in the moonlight will give you a different perspective on the beauty of the Uplands Desert. We will discuss the unique changes in the desert after the sun sets. Meet at Area 4. Bring a flashlight, scorpion lights and bug repellent. No dogs please. – FAMILY EVENT – General Interp.
