SUPER Saguaro Full Moon Hike - McDowell
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
June's Full Moon is a "SUPER" Full Moon because the full moon occurs when the moon is at the closest point to the earth in its rotation. This moon may occur brighter and bigger. May also means seeing the night-blooming saguaro in full bloom! Join us for our monthly Full Moon Hike and experience the desert in a whole new way. We'll watch for sphinx moths and other animals attracted to the saguaro flowers at night. Flashlights are not necessary, but permitted. Bring plenty of water and sturdy shoes.
