Homeschool: Earth Rocks! - San Tan
San Tan Mountain Regional Park
Our Summer Fun Series. What is the difference between a shield volcano and a strato-volcano? And where in Arizona can you find them? Join Ranger Tish as we journey to the center of the earth. Open to non-homeschooled students as well. Limit 25 students. Call or email to register. Meet inside Nature Center.

Adult Moonlight Hike - White Tank Mtn.
White Tank Mountains Regional Park
See the desert in a different light - moonlight! Join park staff on a leisurely, several mile evening hike on the Mule Deer trail. Experience the quiet as evening descends on the desert. View the full moon over the Valley from a viewpoint along the trail. There will be time for photographs if you wish to bring your camera and tripod. This hike is limited to those 16 years and older. Please leave your dog at home. Hike will begin at Area 4. Please note that this program is on Thursday evening this month (not Saturday as usually scheduled).

Moonlight Hike - Spur Cross
Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
June 12 Thursday 8:00 pm Moonlight Hike (moderate) The Conservation Area is a different experience when seen softly illuminated by the silver moon. While we will attempt to minimize the use of flashlights, bring one in case you need it.
