All levels of fitness are welcome. We will set a moderate, steady pace, based on the fitness level of participants. Beginners are welcome. We will hike about a 3.5 miles in a different part of the park each week. Meet at the Nature Center. |

| This is a short, 1 mile hike on a flat trail that offers the opportunity to view the flora and fauna of the uplands desert. The hike will discuss plant physiology and adaptability and the symbiotic relationships of desert life forms. It is heavy in science and may not hold the attention of younger children. | Join us for our monthly Full Moon Hike and experience the desert in a whole new way. Flashlights are not necessary, but permitted. Bring plenty of water and sturdy shoes. Hiking time is 2 hours, and 3 miles. No pets please. Hikes begin at the Trailhead Staging area. Moonlit hike programs are free with $6/vehicle entry to the Park.
