Wildflower Walk - Spur Cross
Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
April 2 Wednesday 8:00 am Wildflower Walk (moderate) Come and see what’s blooming in Spur Cross. This three-hour stroll along the Spur Cross and Tortuga Trails will showcase some of the wildflowers found in the park and explore the beauty of the conservation area.

Cactus Flower Walk - White Tank Mtn.
White Tank Mountains Regional Park
Join park volunteer Cindy Smith on a short hike to look for some of the brilliant blooms of various cacti found throughout the Sonoran Desert. Please meet at Area 7. No dogs, please. Be sure to bring your camera!

Meandering the Merkle - Usery Park
Usery Mountain Regional Park
You never know what you’re going to find out in our desert! Join desert afficionado, Susan Peters, on this 1-mile/1-hour stroll along the Merkle Trail in search of desert plants, animals, and whatever else interests you. The Merkle Trail offers universal access and the hard-smooth surface of this trail will accommodate wheelchairs and strollers. Please bring your questions, a bottle of water, and closed-toe shoes. Location: Area 6.

All About Saguaros - Usery Park

If you would like to know the answers to these questions, or any questions you may have about saguaros, then this one-hour presentation is for you! Bring your sandwich to the “Brown-Bag It” series inside our Nature Center as Ranger B shares his love for the “jolly green giant of the desert.”

Wednesday Wellness Walk - Estrella
Estrella Mountain Park
These walks are geared for anyone who wants to start walking their way toward better health and wellness. Meet at the Gila Trailhead and walk on the 0.5-mile barrier free trail. Get off the couch and get moving with others who have the same goals. As you build your fitness level, you can increase your distance. You are in control of how fast and how far you choose to go each week. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Leave your excuses at home. Meet at the Gila Trailhead.
