Fridays Fitness Hike *DIFFICULT* – OUTSIDE OF PARK- Tom's Thumb Trailhead- 128th St
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
Fridays Fitness Hike – Various locations in Park- ALL Fridays. Come to one or all of the Fitness Hiking Series, every Friday. We build up to a longer hike at the end of the month. Please wear sturdy shoes & bring plenty of water. This week's hike starts OUTSIDE OF THE PARK at the Tom's Thumb Trailhead, off of 128th Street in Scottsdale (off of Dynamite). This is a difficult hike that involves a good amount of elevation and loose rocks. A hiking pole is recommended for this hike that starts in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. Please call the Park if you need directions to the Trailhead.

Fitness Friday at Spur Cross
Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
April 18 Friday 8:00 am Fitness Friday (moderate) Get your day started with a two to three mile brisk, non-interpretive walk. Participants need not be tri-athletes, just ordinary folks who would like to add diversity to their existing walking program. Wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water.

Desert Wash Discovery - White Tank Mtn.
White Tank Mountains Regional Park
Desert washes are critical to the well-being of the desert. They provide shelter and travel routes for desert critters of all sizes, channel storm runoff, and reveal a cutaway view of what's underground. Join Ranger Jessica and park volunteer Joe Weber on a walk through one of the larger washes in the park. There is some rock hopping and most of the walk is in sand. No dogs, please. Please meet at Area 9.

Arizona Science Center members: $20 for the first child, $10 for the second child, and $5 for each additional child. Non-members: $30 for the first child, $10 for the second child, and $5 for each additional child.
