Come to one or all of the Fitness Hiking Series, every Friday. We build up to a longer hike at the end of the month. Please wear sturdy shoes & bring plenty of water. This week's hike starts at the Trailhead Staging Area, and hikes the 4.8 mile Scenic Trail. |

| "Just for Kids" - Toddler Cruise - Usery Park |

| This 1-mile hike is designed for parents and grandparents with small children, ages 3 - 6 years old. Along with Miss Lynn, the kids will howl like coyotes, do the “bobcat crawl” and learn how to hydrate by counting gulps of water on their fingers. We will explore the desert along the scenic Merkle Trail. The hard-smooth surface of this trail will accommodate wheelchairs and strollers. Please bring water, hats, and closed-toe shoes. Location: Area 6. |

This 2-mile hike is on fairly-level ground. Not suitable for strollers. Please bring water, hats, and closed-toe shoes. Note: We won’t actually climb up to the cave but will view it from the trail. | Holiday Full Moon Hike - McDowell |

| Got relatives in town? There is no better way to show off all the Sonoran Desert has to offer than by bringing them on a ranger-led crisp December full moon night hike. Pull on a jacket and hat and experience the desert in a new way at McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Flashlights are not necessary, but permitted. Bring plenty of water and sturdy shoes. Hiking time is 2 1/2 hours, and 3 miles. No pets please. Hikes begin at the Trailhead Staging area. Moonlit hike programs are free with $6/vehicle entry to the Park. |
