Last Day Before the End of the World Hike at White Tank Park
White Tank Mountains Regional Park
We have been hearing about the end of man’s reign on this planet for years. How do we know this? The Mayan Calendar nuts of course! Where have you been? So to celebrate our demise, we will take one last hike before we all vaporize into nothingness, which, by the way, is supposed to happen at 3:11 am MST on 12.21.12. We will do a wash hike to talk about the last 3.5 billion years or so. This is an off trail walk in some rough terrain and problematic for young children and those with physical limitations. Plan accordingly. Meet at Area 9 before 10:00 am. If you are not there at 10 we will leave without you. If we are all still here after 3:11 MST, feel free to read the rest of the schedule and to the Mayan believers we say, “told you so!”
