Fitness Hike - Cave Creek Regional Park
Cave Creek Regional Park
Who needs a gym membership when you can reap the same benefits in the beautiful outdoors—for much less than the cost of the gym? See how fun exercise can be out in the scenic setting of Cave Creek Regional Park. Come to one or all of the Fitness Hikes from now until December. All levels of fitness are welcome. We will set a moderate, steady pace, based on the fitness level of participants. Beginners are welcome. We will bring you throughout a different part of the park each week and total 2.5 to 3.5 miles each week. Meet at the Slate Trailhead.

McDowell Mountain Regional Park
Little Critters Storytime with Ranger Amy - (Geared toward preschool and older children) Join us every Thursday for a themed program set around a children's book read aloud by Ranger Amy. Activities vary and may include live animals, songs, crafts, and/or puppet plays. This program takes place in our air-conditioned Visitor Center.
