Rock Art of Spur Cross
Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
October 28 Sunday 8:00 am Rock Art of Spur Cross (moderate) The petroglyphs found in Spur Cross were created hundreds of years ago by the Hohokam people. Come and walk in their footsteps as we visit a few of the more impressive sites in the park during this two-hour hike. No dogs on this hike please.

What makes reptiles different from other animals? How do they survive and thrive in the wild? How dangerous are they? How many different reptiles are there around here? If you would like to know the answers to these questions, or any questions you may have about reptiles, then this one-hour presentation is for you! Bring your sandwich to the “Brown-Bag It” series inside our Nature Center as Ranger B shares some amazing facts about these crawling creatures. Location: Nature Center.

Full Moon Hike - Usery Park
Usery Mountain Regional Park
Join us for this 2-mile night hike under the glowing light of the full moon. The full moon is a great time to experience new sights and sounds of the desert! Bring your sense of adventure for this interpretive hike with our park ranger, Ranger B. Please bring a flashlight, water, and closed-toe shoes. No pets, please. Location: Trail Staging Area.
