| Saturday and Sunday, October 27th and 28th over 400 runners will be on the Pemberton Trail attempting to run 100 miles. Many other less congested trails will be available for you that weekend. However if you choose to ride or hike the Pemberton Trail follow proper trail etiquette and yield to all the runners. |

| Join us for a night full of fright and delight as we discover the beauty of the Sonoran Desert in the evening hours. Enjoy engaging animal presentations, frightfully fun shows (including a special show from the Phoenix Zoo), face painting, spooktacular activities and don't forget to get your picture taken at our Fairytale Photo station. Participate in the FRIENDS costume contest (costume contest categories are scariest, friendliest and most creative) for a chance to win a cool prize. Set out on a 1.3-mile adventure along the Trick or Treat and Spooktacular Trails while listening to frightening Halloween classics for kids. Don’t forget to wear your Halloween costumes and bring a bag or bucket to collect treats along the way. Flashlights are permitted and encouraged for the hike. Guides will be stationed along the trails for assistance. The hike and program is fun for all ages, so remember to bring the entire family. To expedite entry into the Park, it is recommended to bring exact cash or annual passes for entry. Event presented by the Friends of San Tan Mountain Regional Park. |

| Do You really want to have some early Halloween Fun? Well this is it, a very fun haunted moon paddle. Yes, you will be scared! Bring your own paddlecraft or rent one in town (There are no rentals at this paddle). Wearing life vest are mandatory. (LOCATION CHANGE DUE TO LOW WATER)We will meet at the end of Desert Tortoise Road, look for “Pleasant Paddlers” signs leading from the front gate to the launch site. Paddle duration is between one and two hours, with one stop in the haunted cove (you may elect to not enter the haunted cove). |
