From its Hohokam prehistory and historic gold mining to the romantic days when Spur Cross meant vacation from a saddle, we explore the wonders of Spur Cross.

Home School - Desert Survival - San Tan
San Tan Mountain Regional Park
If your kids are ready to go on an educational adventure, then join us for another exciting Home School at the Park. Get involved as we explore the Sonoran Desert, meet animals face to face, and learn some helpful tricks on how to survive the desert. Please bring water and wear closed toed shoes. This class and hike (roughly 0.5-miles) are designed for children 6 and up.

Citizens for Estrella Mountain Park (CEMP) will have their first meeting of the season. Are you a friend of Estrella Mountain Park? Come and join others who are dedicated to support of the Park. Meetings are held monthly. Among other things this group has provided playground equipment and funded Eagle Scout projects throughout the park.
