Applying for a job with Maricopa County is a simple online process. Once a prospective employee identifies a job of interest listed on our job posting pages, an applicant may apply for the job by selecting the “Apply” link associated with any particular job posting. Applicants are then re-directed to a log-in screen that allows job seekers to access the online application.
If the job posting includes an indication that testing is required as part of the recruitment, employment preference points are available to veterans, disabled veterans, and veteran’s spouse or surviving spouse.

The Maricopa Workforce Connections (MWC) team is available to provide specialized, comprehensive services specifically for you and your family.
Navigating the Valley’s employment opportunities can be daunting; MWC specialists will chart the course with you. They provide priority service to military, veterans and their eligible family members through comprehensive Career Centers.
MWC is passionate about helping those who have protected our Country’s freedoms. Their Veterans Center(s) ensures that area veterans and their families have the tools and resources they need and deserve to succeed in providing for them and their families. Veterans can obtain personalized one-on-one vocational assistance in the MWC Veterans Center(s). MWC offers job referral and placement resources, job readiness training, access to employment opportunities, skill and aptitude assessments, career counseling, labor market/occupational demand information, resume critiquing, financial assistance for local training/education programs, translating military education and training to civilian credits, follow-up and job retention services, and state-of-the-art computer labs and office equipment.
In addition, MWC Veteran Center(s) provides supportive services for personal, family, and emergency needs to assist you and your family including direct links to housing and other immediate transitional services. Based on an individual’s specific needs, veteran specialists provide personal guidance on accessing other federal, state and local programs including MWC’s network of Access Points throughout Maricopa County. On-site veteran specialists representing State and County agencies are available to offer one-on-one services to veterans and spouses to explore solutions to the challenges of transitioning from military to civilian life and to gain access to other necessary transitional services.
