Mission Statement:

The office of Research and Reporting promotes the use of quality data in planning and decision making. Our vision is to be an indispensable, ethically motivated resource which steers the County through valid survey research.

Program Goals:
  • To encourage the use of valid data in planning and decision making.
  • To provide valid data for planning and decision making, when needed.
  • To save the County money by providing alternatives to costly private sector studies.
  • Community Impact:

The Maricopa County Needs Assessment (NAP) has always been a priority for this department. The major reports published include: a Chandler Pilot; two East Valley Reports by city; two West Valley Reports by city; two Central Valley Reports by city; numerous county wide reports by varying geographical configurations; and a state wide report by planning areas.
