Who Can Participate in the WIC Program?
WIC serves:

Pregnant women
-
Women who are breastfeeding a child between birth and 1 year of age

Women not breastfeeding, and whose pregnancy ended less than 6 months ago

Infants and children under the age of 5 years
WIC families must also meet household income guidelines as listed below:

Note: A person who currently receives Medicaid (AHCCCS), TANF, Section 8 Housing, or Food Stamps (SNAP) automatically meets the income eligibility guidelines for WIC. However, if you are not enrolled in any of these programs, you may still qualify for WIC. |

** A household is defined as a group of people, related or unrelated, who live together and function as one economic unit. The income of everyone in the economic unit is counted to determine eligibility. |
