Public Health Security Group
Membership for this group shall be from the existing "Public Health Security Group" which is a multi-disciplinary team of Public Health personnel who are analyzing and sharing Public Health information on regular basis to determine if a potential threat may or has occurred. This group may be called upon in the early stages of a potential Public Health event to assist with conducting an analysis and assessment of the potential threat so healthcare decisions makers can best allocate resources. This group will also assist with the appropriate mechanisms for the sharing of sensitive healthcare related information. Additionally this group will analyze and share best practices for the security of healthcare facilities.

Mission
The Public health security group exists as an integral part of the intelligence community to support recognition, mitigation, and response activities to public health incidents, both natural and man-made. Through the collaboration of subject matter experts this group will support the collection, analysis, and dissemination of relevant health information to maintain the security of the public’s health by way of the AZCHER executive committee.
