Community Partnerships

We also mobilize community partnerships in order to address and solve health problems.

Recent examples of FHP's community partnerships include:

• South Phoenix - The South Phoenix Healthy Start program and consortium aims to reduce infant mortality.

• Maryvale - The It's A Baby's Life organization aims to promote healthy lifestyles for women and improved birth outcomes.

• Sunnyslope - We recently began providing technical assistance to the Sunnyslope Family Services Center Community Council and the Sunnyslope Youth and Family Partnerships to reduce disparities in birth outcomes, teen pregnancy, and sexually transmitted infections.

• Teen Outreach Program (TOP) - We coordinate this evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention curriculum, taught in three Maryvale high schools.
