What is WIC?

 

WIC stands for: The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children. WIC is a national program, funded by the federal government at no cost to participants.

 

WIC serves lower-income Women, Infants, and Children receive nutritious food, nutrition education, breastfeeding assistance and referrals to other assistance agencies.
