Affirmative action and Equal Opportunity strike at the heart of deeply held beliefs about employment and education, about fairness, and about the troubled history of race and gender relations in America.
This forum will give participants a balanced, unbiased, and easily understood account of these highly contentious topics. It will offer attendees an opportunity to learn about, and discuss them in a non-confrontational environment.
The Healing Racism committee and our partners seek to educate citizens about the history and life of Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity, and to help our community make informed, reasoned decisions about two of the most relevant issues of our time.
The forum is free and open to the public.
