Optima Construction signed a $26,512 settlement agreement on January 25th for five alleged permit requirement violations. Those violations include: failure to install, maintain and use a suitable track-out control device and failure to immediately clean up track-out. The location of the violations occurred at 7171 E. Rancho Vista in Scottsdale. The Optima Construction office is located 4808 N. 24^th Street, #100 in Phoenix. Payment was received on January 22, 2007.

BELFOR USA Group, Inc. signed a settlement agreement for $22,800 on January 8th for six alleged air pollution violations.  Those violations include: failure to provide written notice of intention to demolish or renovate where asbestos was greater than the threshold amount, failure to thoroughly inspect the facility for the presence of asbestos, failure to maintain waste shipment records of asbestos that was removed from the site, failure to have an on-site representative trained in the provisions of Asbestos NESHAP during active asbestos removal, failure to have all asbestos workers AHERA trained and failure to provide written notice of intention to demolish or renovate prior to demolition of facility. The violations occurred at two locations: 8650 W. Peoria in Peoria and 5235 N. 43^rd Avenue in Phoenix. The Belfor office is located at 1907 W. Parkside Lane in Phoenix. Payment was received in full on January 8, 2007.

MT Builders, LLC signed a settlement agreement on January 10th for $16,651.  The agreement encompasses five alleged air pollution violations including: failure to install, maintain and use a suitable track-out control device, failure to immediately clean up track-out, failure to implement one or more control measures before using unpaved haul/access roads. The violations occurred at two locations: 111^th Avenue & Van Buren Street in Avondale and 51^st Avenue & Baseline Road in Phoenix.  The MT Builders office is located at 8434 N. 90^th Street, #150 in Scottsdale. The company paid its settlement in full on January 8, 2007.
