Maricopa County Air Quality Department announces 2012 Dry Cleaners’ Compliance Calendar has been posted to assist perchloroethylene dry cleaning operations to comply with the terms of their general permit.

The Maricopa County Air Quality Department issues permits based on established rules that must be followed which limit the emission of harmful air pollutants from operating equipment and industrial processes. Any business or operation that creates air emissions may need an air quality permit. Dry Cleaners are an example of sources and equipment that require a permit.
