(Maricopa County) On December 1, 2011, the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management, will make available the draft Vulture Mountains Regional Park and Recreation Area Master Plan for public review.

“The agencies have worked closely with the public and stakeholders to create the draft Master Plan and are very pleased with the final product,” stated Maricopa County Supervisor Max Wilson, District 4. “Independently, the agencies would not have been able to handle such a project due to funding and staff restrictions. However, together they are able to provide cooperative management and oversight to the area which benefits the community,” he added.
