One of the most common citizen concerns we hear in the Planning and Development Department is related to the advance availability of information on upcoming public hearing items. To overcome this issue, the department utilizes the Internet to go beyond the standard requirements to post a site, publish legal advertisements and mail notices to those within 300 feet of a proposed project by actually posting agendas and staff reports on our web site.
