| As you head into the beautiful Sonoran Desert at night, armed only with your black light, flashlight and water bottle, you see something glowing in the distance. Scorpions! And rather than running away from them, you follow the ranger as he takes you closer, on a special evening adventure through the park searching for scorpions. How many will you find during this 1-mile expedition on the Goldmine Trail.
Black lights will be available to rent for $3.00 at the visitor center through the Friends of San Tan. |
