When necessary to meet an identified recreational need of Maricopa County residents and efficiently manage limited budget resources, the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department periodically contracts with private concessionaires to build and operate public recreation facilities within various county parks. As part of the public procurement process to secure those services, we make every effort to solicit "Request for Proposals" (RFP s) through a variety of media and the internet.
