“Backyard” Birding – ADA Accessible- McDowell Mountain Regional Park
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
Have you wanted to learn more about the local birdlife, but just not known how to get started? Maybe you are a snowbird yourself, and all the birds in the desert look so different from the ones back home? Join volunteer Carol Anderson for a basic introduction to desert birds and what to look for as we let the birds come to us. We guarantee you’ll see lots of birds in our bird habitat right out back of the Nature Center. This is a non-hiking program, suitable for all ages. You are welcome to bring oranges or seed for the bird feeders if you’d like! This program takes place out behind our Nature Center.
