| If you like to paddle and eat, you don't want to miss out on this 4th of July celebration! Attend the fun "Island Hop Breakfast Paddle." We will leave from the 4-lane boat ramp shoreline area and paddle to several islands where we will enjoy a different breakfast item with friends. Yes, coffee and juice will also be available. There is no additional cost, but donations will be accepted to help off-set the cost of breakfast items. Come on out and have fun with the Pleasant Paddlers Program by attending this fun social Island Hop Breakfast Paddle around the north islands of Lake Pleasant. Meet the Park Ranger near the four-lane boat launch shoreline area (look for the kayaks). Bring water, and your appitite. You must supply your own kayak or canoe. If you need a kayak, Scorpion Bay rentals on Lake Pleasant has rental kayaks, call them at 928-501-RENT(7368). Keep in mind, if you do rent, it is about a half hour paddle to meet us from Scorpion Bay to the 4-lane. We will set out at 8AM, so don't be late! Please call and let me know how many people in your party are going, so I can estimate the breakfast. You can call anytime, before July 4th, and leave a message. We will be paddling from the shore, and I estimate we will get in about 5 miles of paddling. Hope to see you at this year's Island Hop Breakfast Paddle! |
