Annual Bald Eagle Closure (Agua Fria Arm Area) in effect from December 16, 2014 to June 15, 2015
The annual Bald Eagle Closure will be going into effect Monday, December 15, 2014 and will remain in effect until Monday, June 15, 2016. Access to this area will remain restricted (i.e. no boating, camping or swimming access) during this time period and violators will be prosecuted. The Agua Fria Arm is designated as one of a few select areas within Arizona for potential nesting/breeding sites for bald eagles. During breeding season, the slightest disturbances to the nesting areas or eagles can have a drastic impact on the success of this majestic, once endangered, raptor. We appreciate your support in helping to ensure this beautiful symbol of American culture has an opportunity to survive and thrive here at Lake Pleasant Regional Park.

Concrete Spillway Parking Area Closed Due To High Water Level
Due to the increasing lake water levels and water encroaching on the Concrete Spillway, the area has been closed for the next few months until the lake water leves begin to drop this Summer, at which time the area will be re-opened.
2/7/2015 - 6/13/2015
NOTICE: High Water Levels - Limited Shoreline Camping Available
With the high water level (roughly 92% full), the available shoreline dwindles. If you plan on shoreline camping, please arrive early (primarily for the weekend) to ensure you can find a good spot to camp. Reservations can be made for semi and developed campsites, which is highly recommended given the water level. During high water times, please help us keep the park beautiful and protect the resources by staying on designated roads (do not make new ones).
