Floating Restroom Near Buzzard Neck Closed for Repairs
The floating restroom nestled between Buzzard Neck and Paul’s Hideaway near the entrance to the mouth of the Agua Fria is currently closed for repairs. We are researching the possibility of replacing the decking and/or replacing the old structure in its entirety. We apologize for the inconvenience, and are working diligently to rectify this issue as quickly as possible to provide the quality services and experience we strive for at Maricopa County Parks. The floating restroom will be closed until further notice. Please use the floating restroom at Honeymoon Cove or the restroom facilities at the 4-Lane and 10-Lane Boat Ramps.

Annual Bald Eagle Closure (Agua Fria Arm Area) in effect from December 16, 2014 to June 15, 2015
The annual Bald Eagle Closure will be going into effect Monday, December 15, 2014 and will remain in effect until Monday, June 15, 2016. Access to this area will remain restricted (i.e. no boating, camping or swimming access) during this time period and violators will be prosecuted. The Agua Fria Arm is designated as one of a few select areas within Arizona for potential nesting/breeding sites for bald eagles. During breeding season, the slightest disturbances to the nesting areas or eagles can have a drastic impact on the success of this majestic, once endangered, raptor. We appreciate your support in helping to ensure this beautiful symbol of American culture has an opportunity to survive and thrive here at Lake Pleasant Regional Park.
