Aquatic camp graphic

The summers are HOT in Arizona, so come on out to Lake Pleasant, stay cool and earn Merit Badges at the same time. We will be offering six – four day weeks of camp.

2009 Schedule

June 8-11
June 15-18
June 22-25
July 6-9
July 13-16

Camp costs $195/ scout plus a $25/week bus charge if using the bus service. Earn up to four Merit Badges per week, sessions begin at 9:00 am daily, with an 8:30 a.m. arrival and end at 4:00 pm.

Merit Badge Classes to be offered:

Aquatic
Canoeing, Fishing, Motorboating, Rowing, Small-Boat Sailing, Watersports, and Kayaking BSA.

Nature
Environmental Science, Archaeology, Geology, Fish and Wildlife Management, Cooking, Energy, First Aid, Insect Study, Nature, Reptile and Amphibian Study, and Weather. (not all merit badges will be offered every week and maybe subject to change). Camp is provisional so come as an individual, with friends or as a patrol. Come for one week or all five!

Bring your own lunch as it will not be provided.

Beginning in March 2009, on-line registration will be available on the Grand Canyon Council, Boy Scouts of American Website. Do not miss your opportunity to experience all this camp has to offer!
