Fire Ban Beginning May 12, 2008! This includes banning the use of all campfires, fire pits, and charcoal grills. It is acceptable to use gas/propane grills in designated areas.
The Maricopa Live Steamers Railroad Heritage Preservation Society is dedicated to preserving the heritage of railroading and offers a scale model railroad park with over seven miles of track.
They offer free train rides every Sunday between noon and 5 p.m. (except June through August) on four different 30-minute rides over more than seven miles of 7.5-inch track on one of the largest club railroads in the country!
