FIRE BAN CURRENTLY IN PLACE...
The fire ban includes the use of campfires, fire pits and charcoal grills; however, it is still acceptable to use gas/propane grills in designated areas such as the ramada areas, semi-developed and developed camping sites and along the shoreline at Lake Pleasant Regional Park. If necessary, additional details will be posted on park specific pages under the "Alert" section in the upper right hand corner of the page.
A date to lift the fire ban has not been identified and will be determined by the amount of rain
Maricopa County receives during the monsoon season.

Adopt-A-Trail
Give your land a hand!

The Adopt-A-Trail program focuses on assisting the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department with clean-up and restoration efforts on the newly developed Maricopa Regional Trail. The Maricopa Regional Trail, once completed, will weave its way through and around Maricopa County to link each of the regional parks together.

Through the Adopt-A-Trail program, individuals and groups will have an opportunity to volunteer their time and skills to enhance the trail while making an everlasting impact on the community.

Why not get involved and give your land a hand? The program offers options for various group levels and individual abilities. In addition, there are several areas that require on-going assistance from committed groups for preservation and repairs, as well as opportunities to help for one day.
