NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY LAKE PLEASANT CLEAN UP - Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Please join your fellow volunteers for this year's National Public Lands Day Lake Pleasant Clean Up. We need help picking up trash on our shoreline and inside our park. Calling all families, friends, groups, paddlers, boaters, scuba divers and hikers of all ages. This years theme is "Helping Hands for America's Lands." If you also have a boat, kayak, canoe or scuba gear, you can help us with the hard to reach areas too. We will need a lot of hands to help out at Lake Pleasant, so come on out. Bring some water, gloves, and a trash grabber. Trash bags will be provided and the park will have some underwater mesh bags for scuba divers. Park staff will pick up your full trash bags near roadways and shorelines. Register between 7AM and 8AM on Sept. 29th in front of Lake Pleasant's main contact station (look for signs). Park entry fee will be waived for volunteers who have signed-in at the NPLD event table.
