Eagle Watch Long Paddle of the Agua Fria - Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
We will be paddling back in the Agua Fria arm watching bald eagles and other wildlife. This paddle is for those who are very hardy, the distance is around 15 miles total. You must have your own paddle craft, there are no rentals at the 4-lane area. You must wear your life vest when on the water! Bring plenty of water and food. Dress for the temperature and also take extra dry clothes in your dry bag. Bring a flashlight just in case you need it to finish or pack your car at the end. The paddle route may be changed if wind conditions are not ideal for safe passage. Bring cameras and binoculars for capturing the wildlife. This may be the last chance to see the eagles in the Agua Fria this year, as they close this area on December 15th.
