FIRE BAN INFORMATION
Effective
Tuesday, May 27, 2014 through Thursday, August 28, 2014
Maricopa County's regional parks will initiate the annual fire ban. This includes banning the use of all
campfire, fire pits and charcoal grills; however, it is still acceptable to use gas/propane grills in designated areas such as the ramada areas, semi-developed and developed camping sites, and along the shoreline at Lake Pleasant Regional Park.
If the parks do not receive ample rain during the monsoon season, the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department
may extend the fire ban to protect the parks resources and ensure visitor safety. To learn more, click here.

San Tan Mountain Regional Park
Santa is making a trip to San Tan Mountain Regional Park before he gets ready for his big day. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to see him and his special friends. Enjoy a night full of fun and adventure as you walk along our magical luminary trail in a desert wonderland, listen to a special story told from an elf's perspective, be mesmerized by the lights on the windmill at the Buddy Pond, see how you stack up in our reindeer games challenge, create your own holiday ornaments and other crafts at Santa's Workshop, get your picture taken with Santa at his village, and so much more. Presented by the Friends of the San Tan Mountains Regional Park.
