Accessing Bids & Contracts
All active links on these pages are in this
dark blue type.
All Materials Management solicitations and contracts are available in
Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format. You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to
view them. See column three of this page.
Bids and solicitations in Microsoft Word and Excel formats are also
supplied compressed into .zip files to allow completion using compatible
word processing and spreadsheet software. See column two on this page
for instructions on accessing and using .zip files
To view PDF files, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader or another
PDF utility. To see solicitations, click the "PDF" link to view the selected
document. Print it using the Adobe print command (not the
browser print command). All county contracts on are viewable in PDF format.
Some documents or sections of documents may not be available on line.
It will be noted if that is the case.
The MS Word and Excel format files that make up a bid are compressed
into this single .zip file.
Click on the corresponding ".ZIP" icon in the far right hand
column of the bid page and follow the instructions to download the file
to your hard drive.
A compression (.zip) utility program is required
in order to prepare bid files for use ee the column to your right for
one such utility).
Your zip file will normally contain two or more documents: The text
of the solicitation will be in Microsoft Word format. The pricing page
will be in Microsoft Excel format.
Follow the directions on your zip program to extract the bid files .
Once you have extracted the files, save them to your hard drive.
Read and complete them using your compatible
word processing and spreadsheet software.
If you need the Acrobat Reader it is available
free by clicking here .
