The Maricopa County Indigenous Circle was founded in 2007 by the Office of Diversity of Maricopa County and county employees seeking inclusion, leadership and an outlet for indigenous culture sharing. It was determined that the recent changes within the structure of the county government merited the inception of affinity groups. We are an all inclusive assemblage of county employees dedicated to increasing the knowledge, culture sharing, and education of customs and practices of indigenous peoples.
