SOLICITATION OF PUBLIC COMMENTS AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE MARICOPA URBAN COUNTY FY 2009-2010 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN Maricopa County is in the process of amending the Maricopa Urban County FY 2009-2010 Annual Action Plan (AAP). The Maricopa County Human Services Department is seeking citizen input and comment on a draft amendment to the FY2009-2010 AAPto reprogram $400,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from a public improvements activity to pave unpaved alleyways within the Town of Youngtown to a public improvements activity to install water delivery lines and fire hydrants within the City of El Mirage. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Maricopa County Human Services Department, Community Development Division, will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed amendment to the FY2009-2010 Maricopa Urban County AAP on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, beginning at 6:30 p.m., in the Arizona Conference Room, Third Floor, 234 North Central Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona. THE PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING is to solicit citizen views and comments regarding the proposed amendment. The draft amendment to the FY2009–2010 AAP will be available for formal review and comment from September 19, 2009 to October 21, 2009 at the following locations: Ø Maricopa County Human Services, 234 North Central, 3rd Floor, Phoenix, AZ Ø Maricopa County website at www.maricopa.gov/comm_dev Maricopa County office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
