| This is a fun 2.5 mi trail the family can enjoy. Some elevation at the start will get your heart pumping but it's mostly flat. We'll try and go at a healthy pace with a stop to look at the fantastic view of the valley. This is a great hike that you can do quickly, get the benefits of exercise with the added value of desert beauty and tranquility. Bring water, hats, good hiking shoes, walking stick. Follow signs to Gila/Baseline Trailhead south of the turf area. |

| This month’s full moon is considered the Full Cold Moon. Luckily here in the desert it doesn’t get that cold, so we are going to take a hike! We will be taking an easy 2 mile hike on our Slate Trail and enjoy the wonders of the Sonoran Desert at night. Bring water, sturdy shoes and a flashlight in case you need it. |
