Join the ranger as we take a 5.8 mile moderate to difficult at points hike on our Go John Trail and explore the amazing landscape and views of the north side of Cave Creek Park. We will be talking about the plants, wildlife and history of the area and the Sonoran Desert.

Look through several large telescopes and enjoy fascinating Hubbell Space Telescope images with stargazing professional, Tony Laconte and his presentation of Stargazing For Everyone. Begin with a gorgeous slide show of Hubbel images with Tony's fascinating descriptions. Then look at the night sky through several large telescopes. You'll see the planets, constellations and deep space objects like star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Bring lawn chairs or blanket for your comfort. This is a fun night out, come alone or bring your entire family or group for this ever popular program. Perfect for homeschoolers.
